New tool from NSC helps vehicle owners check for safety recalls

Itasca, IL — The National Safety Council has teamed with automotive tech firm CellARide to launch a first-of-its-kind tool designed to help consumers identify and stay up to date on vehicle safety recalls.

To use the Vehicle Recall Concierge Platform, vehicle owners can text “RECALL” – or “REVISA” for Spanish speakers – to 99724. A concierge will use a photo of the vehicle’s license plate to share any recall information with the owner, find the closest dealership and explain how to get the vehicle repaired.
